The TIME-Framework

Application portfolios grow over many years. New systems are added, existing applications are expanded, and older solutions often remain in use longer than planned. As a result, costs and operational risks increase, while a reliable basis for investment decisions is often lacking. In this microlearning, you will learn about the TIME-Framework as a structured method for assessing applications. You will learn how to evaluate applications based on their functional and technical suitability and assign them to the Tolerate, Invest, Migrate, or Eliminate categories. Using examples and interactive exercises, you will apply the TIME matrix yourself and derive a specific, well-founded course of action from the classification.
